This is a community-centered service-learning event that brings together 91¿´Æ¬ students, employees, and local partners to improve and preserve the Clear Creek recreation area near Winslow, Arizona. More than a one-day cleanup, the event is intended to connect community service with student learning, leadership development, and civic responsibility. Students will be encouraged to consider how environmental stewardship, public recreation, and community well-being are connected while developing teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
